What would you consider your signature style?
I’m passionate about dark lettering, blackwork and illustrative styles of tattooing, so I feel like that’s reflected in my work quite heavily. My absolute favourite pieces to create are often dark and morbid, but I also have a real love for fine line botanicals.
Tell us about your experience and influences:
I started my apprenticeship in January of 2018 and was lucky enough to work alongside – and learn from – some really talented artists, which I think has influenced the different styles within my work.
I tend to find inspiration in every day things, such as nature; death & decay being the big one.
In terms of other artistic influence, my favourite lettering artists are Anrijs Straume, Gabri Lahaine, Gromov & Felix Seele, so I’d say I’m definitely influenced by all of them, whilst still maintaining a distinctive style of my own.
